Zoomorphic was an exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) that showcased an emerging trend towards buildings that emulated natural and animallic forms.
The exhibition featured an eclectic mix of architects' models and preserved animals - the buildings resembled an array of species from armadillos to anteaters, to sea sponges and sea urchins. Leading international architects such as Santiago Calatrava, Renzo Piano and Wilkinson Eyre were amongst those featured.
The visual identity we developed for the show took a selection of animals and re-drew them, blueprint style - side-stepping the traditional route featuring photographs of the buildings and showing what had inspired them instead.
This core idea was then carried across a raft of literature, invitations and posters, all printed one colour on uncoated paper, carrying though the blueprint theme.
